Chinese President
Another nice memory is about the Chinese President, Li Siannian in 1984. Service was perfect. At the end, Turkish coffee was served and they wanted coffee fortune-telling. There was a gipsy fortune-teller. President's wife tried to turn the coffee cup before she drank her coffee and she spilled coffee all over her clothes.

Benazir Butto
Benazir Butto and her father were also our guests. We tried to do our best service for them as well and they were very pleased.

Rafsancani
We had served wonderful meal to Rafsancani in the garden of Topkapı Palace. There were some kind of different cheese exhibitions and their names were written in front of them. One of them was written wrong. He said that the name of it had been written wrong. He was so careful.

Nixon
After Watergate incident, Nixon came to Turkey as a governmental guest and had lunch at our restaurant. We had a book called honorbook. We opened the last page of the book and put it front of Nixon to have him sign it. Then, he began to look up to book and saw who signed it. He recognized some of them were dead and he closed the book suddenly and said that he was not going to sign it because everybody who signed this book was dead, and ı had killed them. However, afterwards, he signed the honorbook. Later on, he came by a travel agency once more. Service was perfect. Sometimes, I showed myself to him. Then, he called me. Guess what he told me? “Do you still make people to sign your book? Are you still killing them? He said.
